Wintertime is the perfect time to visit Kelly Park/Rock Springs. The weather is comfortable and it is not in the rainy season. The water is 68 degrees year-round so swimming is best when the weather is hotter in summer
IMPORTANT: If you hear any thunder, get completely away from the water because Florida lightning is some of the most extreme and dangerous on the planet.
Handicap parking is available and a lot of regular parking too.
Plenty of pavilions and BBQ grills are available as are restrooms.
It is a short walk to the springs, but one way has some stairs and another is is partially on a dirt path, so parts of it is not ADA accessible.
The water is beautiful near the Spring where it forms the river.
Bring your camera and wear a swim suit if the weather is warm enough.
Plan on spending 90 minutes minimum or make a full day of it.
