Downtown Macon's Christmas Lights Extravaganza show is synchronized with the sounds of the Macon Pops Christmas songs. Several light shows each night dance to the beat of the music. This is a free event. This occurs annually from around Thanksgiving until right after the New Year. The lights come on at 6pm even though sunset is before 530pm.
